Secrete Alley

For my final school project I am hoping to complete 2 environment scene. First one that I am doing is called "Secrete Alley". I was walking down Gastown one day searching for inspiration and then I found this alley called "Blood Alley" and right beside that, there's a smaller alley called Gaolers Mew, with red brick walls and red door(Unfortunitly, it's under construction now and is not accessible). I went back to classroom and started researching that area and found couple astonishing photos and was really touch by them. I decided to use Gaolers Mew and expand it to create my own environment piece. I am posting my style guide, sketches and some reference here to start. (all pictures can be clicked to enlarge)

Style Guide

Approx sourounding and Camera Angles (Main Focus would be a glass window Cafe shop)

Shop References (Main Focus would follow the Cafe in the Style Guide)

I have blocked out general location and set up 2 cameras:

- camera 1 focu length 35 (regular angle)

- camera 2 focu lenth 20 (wide angle)

I have started modeling my main focus (Glass Window Cafe) and will be updating here soon.

I am looking forward to suggestions and comments.

I know Alley and Courtyard have been modeling topics for a long time. What I am hoping to achieve is having the viewers to get a surprising soothing feeling like after a tiring work day, they walk into a secret alley and found a piece of quite ground to relax.
